about

I recorded this track on a wintery afternoon in Justin Marshall's home studio shortly after writing it. This song has not yet been formally released

lyrics

Lately I've been wondering, what is really right
Wakes me with violence in the middle of the night
Where have I been travelling from, and where am I going to?
Who the hell am I, and who the f#*k are you?

It appeared
Like a sign-post
At the side of this lonely road
Where I fell down yet again, and pierced the edge of my soul
See I'd been travelling along this way, in darkness with no light
And I was wondering if I'd make it out this time

These night, I awake cold sweat at some stupid AM
I know something's up with this, I can no longer pretend
I want to soar into the sky, but gentle as a prayer
That someone says when they believe it's really there

It appeared
Like a sign-post
At the side of this lonely road
And I was wondering
If I'd make it out alone
